Go Red for Women at McKinley Headquarters
February 3, 2012 was national Go Red for Women day, which brings attention to heart disease. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. To show support for this cause, McKinley employee’s wore the color red on Go Red for Women day. Each Friday employee’s are allowed to wear jeans, but only if they donate $5. The donated money is saved and given to various charitable causes. The 2012 national Go Red for Women day happened to fall on a Friday, so all jeans day donations collected that day were donated to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement.
